• The first Management Information Systems Department in Turkey, our department was established in 1995 by Boğaziçi University.

• Our objective is to educate future managers who will set up, develop and maintain information systems.

• Our undergraduate program consists of courses in IT and in management as well as departmental courses which integrate these two areas.

• Our department offers the first and only graduate program in Management Information Systems in Turkey.

• Admission is highly competitive. Fifty students are admitted to the undergraduate program every year, fifteen students to the MA program in MIS and 30 students to the MA program in BIS, Business Information Systems. A total of 270 students are registered for the various programs.

• We are located in the Hisar Campus of Boğaziçi University and our students benefit from the rich academic, cultural and social activities offered in the various campuses of the university.
